Salma is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), a Human Resource Advisor and a published author.


She began her career in the UN system with the World Food Programme (WFP), where she worked in Human Resources for nearly a decade in both Dubai and Rome.  Before becoming a coach, she also worked in Abu Dhabi for IRENA, the International Renewable Energy Agency Secretariat where she led a team as Acting Chief of HR for over two years.


In a career spanning over 20 years, her work has taken her from UAE to Thailand, Myanmar, Italy and Pakistan.  She thrives in multi-cultural environments having worked and lived in the Middle East, Asia, and Europe. Her experience has deepened her attunement to cross-cultural issues and challenges arising from international life opportunities.


She collaborates with organizations on areas related to talent acquisition and development. As a coach, she supports professionals and aspiring leaders tap into their inner powers and form new life visions and career goals.


Salma has her MSc in Human Resources Management and Development from the University of Leicester and graduated from the University of Khartoum in Sudan with a major in agricultural studies. Her research on women’s career advancement ignited her passion to support women to realize their potential through coaching. Salma co-authored two books titled “Women Who Inspire” and “She Dares” containing powerful stories about overcoming obstacles and leading change in the world.  She has completed the Harrison Assessments Employee Development Accreditation and the Team Diagnostic Survey (TDS)’s Six Conditions Framework for Team Effectiveness.

Salma lives in the UAE and UK and she speaks English and Arabic fluently.
